Before returning your Hearing aid(s), please make sure you have gone through the troubleshooting guide and have addressed the following common issues:

Q: Have you given yourself enough time to try the Hearing aid(s)?
A: At the minimum, it takes about 7 days for your brain to start getting used to Hearing aid(s). Keep in mind that your Hearing aid(s) are compensating for your degree of hearing loss, and it will take time for you to condition your brain to process the new sounds.

Q: Why does everything sound tinny and loud?
A: Everything will sound loud during the first 7 days. Your brain is re-registering sounds that were missing before the Hearing aid(s).

Q: Is there wax build-up in the tubing and/or domes of your Hearing aid(s) device?
A: Clean the tubing and device with a soft, dry cloth, and use the cleaning brush and/or wire.

Q: Have the batteries run out?
A: Put in new batteries of the correct size and close the battery door fully, until you hear a click, and then chimes will indicate that the Hearing aid(s) has turned on.

Q: Is there excessive whistling or feedback?
A: Play with the ideal positioning of the ear piece in your ear canal. Try a different dome and reduce the volume of your Hearing aid(s). It may be set at levels that are too high. *Keep in mind that there are times when feedback should occur. This lets you know your Hearing aid(s) is working.
